Step Up 2005

Step Up 2005 was a 10-day festival crammed full of performing, visual and media arts by just under 100 Specialist Arts Colleges and Artsmark schools of the north west, along with top arts organisations and educators.More than 70 events, including stage performances by young artists, workshops for all ages and training for teachers, were scheduled over the first 10 days in July – in what is believed to be the longest arts festival for schools in the world. And to coincide with the 'record breaking festival' organisers tried to break 10 World Records in the 10 days of the festival.
